prŏj′ĕkt ; “a piece of planned work or an activity that is finished over a period of time”
I’ve never been particularly interested in the concept of “staying in my lane”.
For the past two decades, I’ve spent my time organizing projects, touring, writing music, collaborating with curious people, and repeatedly biting off more than I can chew. These projects vary widely, but the motivation remains the same: to work with people who challenge and inspire me, to remain curious, and to create without limitations.
For a long time, I struggled to find my place within the traditional music industry. The moment I stopped trying to fit into a brand and started following the work itself, things became much more interesting.
The following are a few of the projects currently occupying my time, energy, and imagination.

Water music
A musical exploration of water, conservation, and our relationship to the natural world.

“home”
A project built around place, memory, movement, and the complicated ways we define home.

strange winds
A flexible chamber ensemble dedicated to adventurous new, improvised music and creative experimentation.

Skeleton crew
Part electronic duo, part improvising ensemble, Skeleton Crew creates immersive sonic environments that blur the line between performance and film score.

The new music ensemble of the black hills
A flexible ensemble dedicated to the performance of contemporary music, with a focus on new works, regional voices, and creative collaboration.

Plays Well With others
A rotating collective built around collaboration, improvisation, and unexpected creative partnerships.
